Welcome to the official website of the East Sussex Local Optical Committee (LOC). The East Sussex LOC is the official organisation that represents optical contractors and performers in East Sussex.

One of the main roles of the East Sussex LOC is to advise the local Primary Care Trusts on matters relating to general opthalmic services in the area.

The LOC has also assisted in the organisation of the cataract shared care scheme in the area.

The purpose of this site is to provide optometrists, other health care practitioners and the general public with information on locally available eyecare provision.

We would like to hold information about the services provided by practices in our area so that we can ensure you are kept up to date with any changes affecting your work and so that patients, GPs and hospitals can be given accurate information when enquiring about service providers.
